At YESSS Electrical, our purpose is to create superior value for our customers by delivering world class Supplies, Service and Solutions. We have implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) which identifies significant quality, environmental, energy, heath and safety aspects and the associated impacts of our activities. We are dedicated to promoting the highest level of health, safety and welfare, quality, and environmental management.
As a business, we like to conduct ourselves in a way to ensure that all reasonable and practicable steps are taken to minimise the risk to the environment, all employee, visitors, contractors, and customers. By training our staff to help with consultation, participation, awareness, and continual risk control will ensure that it is undertaken in a systematic manner.
By showing our commitment to continual improvement through the implementation of IMS, we will meet the certificated requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
Specifically, we will:
- Include quality, environmental, energy, health and safety considerations in existing management systems and initiatives with the aim of continually improving our management processes, customer satisfaction, environmental and health and safety performance, whilst committing to compliance with relevant legislation and other interested parties needs and requirements.
- Maintain safe plant, machinery and equipment and a safe and healthy working environment and take actions to address risks and opportunities.
- We will set, annually review/monitor and publicise objectives and targets that strive to improve our business performance beyond strict regulatory compliance and achieve industry best practice, exceed our objectives and targets, and ensure demonstrable continual improvement.
- Undertake methods of improving efficiency with the best use of human resources, available technology, raw materials, and energy.
- Identify and seek to reduce significant environmental, health and safety risks and effects and prevent pollution, injury, and ill health, using best available techniques, which may arise from our processes, any outsourced processes, our operations, and work activities, on our own and our customer sites.
- Identify and seek to reduce our fuel and energy consumption in accordance with regulatory requirements and ISO standards. Including the acquisition, design, and refurbishment of any new branches.
- Consideration will be made during the purchase of new off energy-efficient products and services, and design for energy performance improvement.
- Aim to reduce waste generated from our process activities and utilise waste minimisation philosophies to promote reuse, recycling, or the generation of power from waste.
- Make adequate provision for dealing with all emergency and potential emergency situations, including customer dissatisfaction.
- We will actively forge relationships with suppliers and customers to find practical ways to minimise areas of common concern and promote open discussions with interested parties, including the general public, in relation to the operation of our IMS.
- Ensure available access to quality, environmental, energy, health and safety information and training for our staff, encouraging them to participate and always apply best practice.
- Always show a commitment to employee consultation and participation at all levels, regarding all quality, health, safety, environmental and energy activities, including review of company policies, documents, and training.
